Day 5; After a slightly delayed start (due to some large ships docking) Andy left Thurrock Yacht Club at 14:40 hours. The Port of London Authority were in attendance in their vessel, 'KEW', keeping a watching brief until Andy reached Gravesend. There was lots of choppy water around the middle 5 miles today , however this smoothed out and Andy completed 20 miles of swimming, reaching mouth of Medway at 20:15 hours.

'Wabbit' motors past 'Bob II' with Captain Stewart at the helm.

Nick Lincoln took his eye off Andy for a few seconds to take this shot.

They will be meeting up again for overnight mooring at Queenborough.

At the end of another day's swimming Andy's in very good spirits and looking forward to getting back in the water tomorrow, when he'll be attacking a 23 mile stretch to reach Herne Bay.
